My cinnamon dessert bread was such a hit that I had to come up with yet another dessert bread. My latest creation also has white icing on it, but it is flavored with lemon juice. The bread is given a unique sweetening with, of all things, maple syrup. Maple syrup bread reminds me of a sweet pancake, and, if you skip adding the icing, the bread makes an incredible french toast.
