Storing Flour

There are reports of flour shortages, as well as rice shortages, in the United States. Prices are rising for basic foods, such as bread and anything that requires flour (baked desserts, pizza, etc.). For people who bake, this is bad news, but it's also a good reason to start learning how to store your baking flours so that there is less waste. With the proper storage techniques, your flour can last up to 7 months without insects or spoiling. This is also great for people who've thought about creating a stocked pantry or stocking 3 months of food supplies for emergencies.
