Make French Toast

With busy schedules and high stress jobs, breakfast meals become more and more important. Not only is breakfast a time to fuel up for the day, it is also a time to sit with the family and talk about plans for the day.

Living in Pennsylvania Dutch country, breakfast is one of the biggest meals of the day. There's butcher shop scrabble, homemade pancakes and waffles, and eggs scrambled, sunny-side up, over easy, and hard boiled.

Another breakfast favorite is french toast. Not only does french toast taste delicious when smothered in maple syrup, it is also a great way to use up bread that is getting dry. If you've never made french toast, read through my step-by-step instructions for french toast, with photographs to help you get started enjoying a great breakfast!
