Cherry Walnut Coffee Bread

With temperatures below freezing, my daughter and I have been drinking cocoa and coffee topped with whipped cream almost non-stop. With such tasty, belly-warming drinks, we needed a sweet bread to go along with our steaming mugs of goodness. Searching through our food storage, we came across a bag of dried cherries and we created cherry walnut coffee bread. This is a quick bread that can be made in 35 minutes. It is topped with a thin icing that glazes the warm bread and makes it a perfect addition to cocoa and coffee time.
