These loaf pan hot pads are very easy to make. To use them, I fold them in half to lift loaf pans out of the oven. When I need to set the hot loaf pans down, I lay out one of the hot pads and the loaf pan fits on it perfectly. Certain breads, such as quick breads, need to sit in the loaf pan for an extra ten minutes before turning out the bread, and when my kitchen stove gets full of cooling loaf pans, I use these hot pads on the counter to set the extra loaf pans onto them.
Yarn: Kitchen cotton yarn. I used Peaches and Creme cotton yarn, color Purple Petunia.
Size G crochet hook.
Chain 18.
Row : SC in 2nd chain from hook. SC across. Chain 1. Turn.
Continue to work the loaf pan hot pad in SC until 11 inches in length. Knot off and weave in ends.
