1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 jar (19 oz) sliced peaches
3 large eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
5 Tbsp peach juice
1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Preheat oven 375 degrees F. Greased sides of 8-inch round cake pan. Melt 1/4 cup butter in small saucepan over low heat. Remove butter from heat and add brown sugar. Mix well and scrape into bottom of cake pan. Flatten butter mixture over the bottom of the pan.
