This recipe is very similar to my grandmother's recipe using stale bread, asparagus, and eggs. This is an extremely easy recipe to pull together and once you have placed all the ingredients into the casserole dish, you need only bake until done. No more fussing.

- 1 lb fresh broccoli, washed and cut
- 2 cups bread cubes
- 1 can (12 oz) tuna, drained and chunked
- 3 medium eggs
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Preheat oven 400 degrees F. In a 2 quart baking dish, place the broccoli along the bottom. Spread bread cubes and flaked tuna over top. In a bowl, mix eggs, cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, and black pepper. Spread over the tuna and bread medley. Bake uncovered in the 400 degrees F oven for 30 minutes or until golden topped.
