Cinnamon Biscuit Mix Puffs

Baking delicious treats can’t get any easier when you use biscuit mix as your base ingredient. These muffins are easy and quick to make, and they taste heavenly! Whether you make them for breakfast or as a late night snack, everyone will love these sweet, cinnamon muffin puffs. Recipe makes 1 dozen cinnamon biscuit mix puffs.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes


  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter, soft
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • .
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon


  1. Grease 12-cup muffin tin.

  2. Preheat oven 400 degrees F.

  3. Mix biscuit mix, sugar, and nutmeg in medium bowl.

  4. Add milk, butter, and egg. Mix for about 30 seconds.

  5. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full and bake for 15 minutes or until done.

  6. Melt 1/2 cup butter in small saucepan. Remove from heat.

  7. Mix together 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in bowl.

  8. While muffins are still hot, roll each one in the butter and then the cinnamon sugar.

  9. Serve hot.

These came out delicious!!! I used soy milk instead of regular milk and pumpkin pie spice instead of nutmeg and they still came out great. My only complaint was that there was way too much left over cinnamon sugar topping...There was almost twice as much as it really needed (I ended up with 8 muffins).
