Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg, lightly beat
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup drained, canned whole kernel corn
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Preparation:
- Grease 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan.
- Preheat oven 400 degrees F.
- Put all ingredients in large bowl without mixing.
- Stir ingredients until flour is just moistened and batter is lumpy.
- Scrape batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until done.
