Ingredients:
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 4 tsp baking powder
Preparation:
- Preheat oven 400 degrees F.
- In medium bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, and salt.
- Mix in milk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Stir in baking powder.
- Pour batter into greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
