Guide Review - Dutch Country Pretzels Mix - Product Review of Pretzel Mix
Dutch Country Soft Pretzels Mix are the first pretzel mix I've ever bought. Usually, about twice a year, I will go through the long task of making a few dozen pretzels from scratch and freezing them for quick snacks. When I saw this mix, I quickly grabbed it off the shelf and decided to give it a taste test.
For a beginner, pretzel making may seem difficult. There are a lot of steps to follow to make pretzels. Dutch Country Soft Pretzels Mix breaks these steps down so that they are easier, and, when you're only making 8 to 10 pretzels, quicker.
To start making the pretzels, you first mix the contents of the bag with water. Knead the dough, cover it, and let it rise for an hour.
After the rise, the pretzel shaping begins. Dutch Country Soft Pretzels Mix provides illustrations on the packaging showing how to make a basic pretzel shape. You and your children can also make any shape you desire, such as twist pretzels and circle pretzels.
The final steps are to dip the dip the pretzels in a water and baking soda solution to help with browning. Cover the pretzels with the salt provided and bake. When the pretzels are finished baking, remove them from the oven and brush with melted butter.
The pretzel mix takes all the guess work out of pretzel making. It's easier than making the pretzels from scratch.
The end product is a delicious soft pretzel with a sweet, buttery flavor.
