Buttermilk drop biscuits can be made with fresh buttermilk or with dried buttermilk. Either way, the biscuits taste delicious and are great for serving alongside of dinner or breakfast meals.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp shortening
- 1 cup buttermilk, cold or room temperature
Preparation:
- Preheat oven 450 degrees F. Grease baking sheet.
- In medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cut in shortening with fork until mixture is crumbly. Add milk all at once and mix until flour is completely wet. Drop biscuit batter, about 2 Tbsp for each biscuit, onto greased baking sheet.
- Bake 450 degrees F for 12 minutes or until done. Serve warm with your meal.
